OVERVIEW OF EMAS • Services provided by EMAS include: • Paramedic services at scene and medical emergencies • Emergency care and transport of patients • Diagnosis and treatment or referral for minor illnesses and injuries • Specialist patient transport – PTS • Specialist training for the public – first aid • Emergency planning and civil protection services

Results On Line version Of those that registered 70% took the test and passed. Book Version Of those that registered 98% took the test and 98% passed the test. 60% of all staff passed using the on line version and 13% passed using the workbook version Anomalies 7 Managers evaluated content but took no test 1 registered for both! 86% of total staff registered for On Line version 14% of total staff registered for the Workbook Option
‘Grass Roots’ package adopted by NHS Core Learning Unit – SHA funded Roll out to all EMAS employees – ‘essential’ training Ensure picked up in Performance and Development Review Information captured on E2Ttrain (LMS) to monitor progress Next steps
