Who is the Scientist? Nikola Tesla • Born: 10 July 1856 • Death: 7 January 1943 • Fields of Science: Electrical and Mechanical Engineering • Notable Awards: Order of St. Sava, Elliott Cresson Medal, Edison Medal, John Scott Medal • Unmarried
Nikola Tesla’s Contributions (1) • Tesla's patents and theoretical work formed the basis of modern alternating current electric power (AC) systems, including the polyphase power distribution systems and the AC motor, with which he helped usher in the Second Industrial Revolution.
Nikola Tesla’s Contribution (2) • Besides his work on electromagnetism and electromechanical engineering, Tesla has contributed in varying degrees to the creation and establishment of robotics, remote control, radar and computer science, and to the extensions of ballistics, nuclear physics, and theoretical physics.
Nikola Tesla’s inventions • AC power • wall socket • radio transmission • Radio • Television
How we are inspired by Nikola Tesla Nikola Tesla was known as a madman but still after all the insults, he still persevered. In the same way, we are inspired by him to persevere even in the hardest and most stressful conditions
Reflection We have understood his inventions and how it changed our everyday lifestyles. We had learnt that, though determination and perseverancecomessuccess, never give up hope!
