Broadway Babyfrom Follies • Broadway is the district in NYC where theatrical performances are staged in one of over 40 theatres • A Broadway theatre is one that houses over 500 seats, with the largest housing 1933 seats (Gershwin Theatre, home of Wicked) • Broadway is a billion dollar industry creating over 40,000 jobs in NYC • The longest running Broadway show is Phantom of the Opera, playing since January 1988, performing over 9100 shows and still counting

My Favorite Thingsfrom The Sound of Music • I am a drama major • I am an avid follower of Broadway theatre • I love any kind of live theatre • Musicals are awesome • I’ve been to Broadway 5 times within a year • My ultimate dream would be to someday work on Broadway as a director or set designer

  4. Defying Gravityfrom Wicked • I have a Mac • The library computers aren’t all that great • Organizing and formatting my pages became a pain • Had other work to do as well • I’m very detail oriented • Was unsure of what to put on some pages • Have been sick off and on for the last week
