BACKGROUND Thailand’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) policy places a priority on the role of ICT in social and economic development by emphasizing the improvement of the quality of life and society through developing a knowledge-based society 1. Government Policy on ICT
In the global context, the development of ICT in Thailand can be considered average Compare with the other Asia countries, they are more developed than Thailand BACKGROUND
The main factors holding back the development of ICT in Thailand Insufficient and limited coverage of the information and communication infrastructure A shortage of ICT human resources The low and limited ICT usage of the general public Lack of ICT knowledgeable person in the public sector BACKGROUND
