NZ Kiwifruit Industry- 1992 Crisis • BELIEF that an outcome was possible, that I could do the job. • JUDGEMENT – to make the right calls when it was really difficult. • INTEGRITY – to rebuild trust that had been shattered by a series of events and poor communication.
Wrightson Ltd- a dysfunctional company • COURAGE – to change some key workings of the board and senior management, and to reverse some company strategies. • CLARITY – to ensure that staff and customers were aware that we had recognised the mistakes, and were doing something about it.
