MÉTODO SENCILLO PARA DETERMINAR LA PENDIENTE DE UN TERRENO Jalón Visual horizontal Primer paso: buscar un rellano en el terreno o un lugar plano; encontrar dónde da la visual horizontal empleando un jalón, una vara o un compañero más alto que el observador. MÉTODO SENCILLO PARA DETERMINAR LA PENDIENTE DE UN TERRENO Segundo paso: hacer que se retire el compañero arriba o abajo del terreno y buscar con el clinómetro la parte del cuerpo (el cuello en este caso) o la marca que dio anteriormente en la vara o en el jalón. De esta manera se obtiene en el clinómetro la lectura del ángulo α que forma la inclinación del terreno con relación a la horizontal. m = tangα x 100 La pendiente del terreno (m) es igual a la tangente del ángulo α que forma con relación a la horizontal, multiplicada por 100. α terreno Dr. Daniel Rivas Torres 4/5
