Whales’ shape They have big bodies that are very strong tails. Demensions: Length: on average 80 ft largest whale found was 92 ft. Height: 26 ft. Weight: 120 tons the heaviest was 190 tons or 380,000 pounds! Colors and markings: blue and white
Habitat Whales inhabit all seas but polar seas world wide. Their environment is seas and oceans. Whales’ shelter is in oceans and seas

Social Behavior • Whales travel and feed by themselves but they can be spotted with 4 to 5 other whales besides their young
Family life Whale twins are extremely rare or 1% of all baby whales have a twin. Female whales are in gestation for 11 to 12 months. Baby whales are born in the spring while the mother takes care of them. Another fact is when newborn whales they are 25 feet long they also drink 50 to 200 pounds of milk a day!
Characteristics • They are not easily tempered. • They spout water out of their blow hole. • One of their defences is being big and fast. • How they get food: they suck it in with their teeth called balleen, and they push the water out of their mouth through their blow holw at their top of their head. Last they swallow the krill or plankton. • Their life span is 35 to 40 years.
