What Is the Mission Of The Board? • Pursue The Mission Wisely (Strategically) • Ensure Accountability And Good Stewardship • Build And Protect A Good Reputation • Annually Define The Board’s Contribution To The Mission • Mobilize Resources Based On Missional Goals • Volunteer Individually • Work On Projects In Collaboration With The ED and Staff • Work On Projects On Behalf Of The ED and Staff Here is a thought… Do you view “governance” and related activities as an end, or a means to an end?
