swamps • Swamps are wet lands the have been forested • Some of the most common swamp wildlife is the American alligator, copperhead snake, swamp sparrow, and another bird is the green heron. • There are many plants in the swamp and some examples are; sundew,cattail,and an elephant ear. • wetland: an area of land, usually fairly large, that is always wet and is overgrown with various shrubs and trees
Oceans • An ocean Is a large body of water that consist of fish and other animals. • Did you know that 97% of Earth is water. • The ocean is estimated 50-80% of all life on earth is found under the ocean surface and the oceans contain 99% of the living space on the planet. Less than 10% of that space has been explored by humans. 85% of the area and 90% of the volume constitute the dark, cold environment we call the deep sea. The average depth of the ocean is 3,795 m. • The ocean is wonderful to look at, and marvelous to play in.
