  2. PBIS • We began PBIS in 2008 • PBIS provided the • multi-tiered approach that our school needed.

  3. CICO • We were formally trained in 2016. • We started with 5 coaches and now have 12.

  4. What have we learned? • Breaking a chart into AM and PM is very effective. • Older students enjoy filling a 10 frame when they meet their daily goal for a larger incentive. • Adding coping strategies to charts or on mini clip boards has been helpful for our students. • Before a student graduates from the program, have him or her rate themselves for a week or two. • Coaches should have no more than 2 students and consider the staff member’s schedule.
