Outline • Last Week • Current Week • Calibration Program • Autodecouple Program
Last Week • Code Calibration Program • Set voltage thresholds for specific sensor • Integrate with Main program • Test function coded within
Current Week • Finish Calibration Program • Some more coding • Test and Debug program • Start Autodecouple Program • Finish stage 1 by end of week • Test program
Calibration Progam • Almost done coding • Test one sensor before all four • Set up hardware for it • A/D channels 0-3 are for sensors BL,BR,ML,MR • Sensors are labeled on layout
Autodecouple Program • Start and Finish Stage 1 of 3 • Stage 1 – remove cars after desired one • Stage 2 – remove desired car • Stage 3 – put train back together • Each stage has two parts • Part A is before the decoupler • Part B is after the decoupler • Pause when switch needs to be flipped • Keypress to begin next stage
Potential Problems • Timing issues when using A/D converter and setting up DCC signals together • Keypress to resume autodecoupling operations • Developing the Calibration Program in a way to make it a one time use • Train speed and photocell’s rate of light detection
