  2. Early Life • Jacques Cousteau was born at Sain-Andrea de Cubzas on June 11,1943 • Died on June 25th 1997 • He was a very weak and skinny boy

  3. Education • Jacques was not a healthy young boy, • His doctor wanted him to swim to get stronger. • When Jacques was swimming he started to like the water. • Jacques also really liked building things.

  4. Accomplishments • Jacques made a little clear lens to cover over the camera so that the picture of the sea will look clear

  5. Later Life • Jacques was a navy officer. • He wanted to travel the world in research vessels.

  6. Fun Facts • Jacques saved his money and bought a camera. • He hosted a television show underwater.
