  2. HILLINGDON CONTEXT • One of the highest rates of alcohol-related hospital admissions in London • Treatment funding has been focused largely on Class A drugs • Stimulant, alcohol, cannabis and polydrug users under-represented in treatment • Deprived wards in the south of the borough

  3. COMMISSIONING PERSPECTIVE • Adds value to existing services • Preventative benefits – enables access to universal services • Reaches deprived parts of the borough • Targets cohorts who are under-represented in treatment • Attracts external funding
