Roles & Responsibilities • See duty roster & student groupings • Selected based on your choices & talents • Do not change your groupings on your own • Work closely with your teachers i/c • Tour leaders will only be appointed after all of us have the chance to work with everyone - 4th pre-trip meeting 15 Nov
Training & Research See Pre-Trip Schedule • Induction & Orientation • Research & Presentation on schools & places that we will be visiting • Research on Leadership Theories (can propose other theories) • Reading & Quiz on ACJC & Singapore
Training & Research During the Trip • Daily Debrief, Sharing & Reflections • Journal Writing Post-Trip • Evaluation & Reflections • Presentation for morning assembly • Sharing with other CCA leaders (post-CCAAB)
Pre-Trip Schedule • Mark out the dates in your diary • Work out your Promo study schedule based on these dates • Attendance is compulsory for all meetings • Group leaders will have to arrange other non official meetings for your groups to complete your tasks, etc.
Admin Matters • Passport • renew if not biometric passport & less than 6 mth validity (from day of departure: 27 Nov) • submit photocopy of passport to Ms Too Suat Ling by the next meeting • Parents’ particulars – to be keyed in at the next meeting • Trip Fund (for journal, gifts, jacket, welfare, etc) - pay treasurer at the next meeting: $10
Journal Writing • Official journal writers will keep a detailed record of the itinerary during the trip • Everyone else will keep a personal journal – to begin with 2nd pre-trip meeting • Official journal writers must buy a note book for everyone (including teachers) by the next meeting
Communication • Email – check regularly • Yahoo group? • See teachers i/c in their staff rooms
Group Discussion (20min) • Discuss rules & regulations – submit to Mrs Ong • Suggestions for improvement to the proposed pre-trip programme • Secretary – to collate and finalise the rules & regulations for this year’s trip
Agenda for next meeting • 9 Sep (Fri, school vacation), 9.00am. • Venue: A2.11 • AGENDA • Team building – every group to prepare one activity • Logo/Design for trip & jacket – every group to submit one logo/design • Submit photocopy of passport & particulars • Collect 1st deposit (tentative) • Research – update progress with teachers i/c • Journal – write reflection
