Student Research Program • Encourages gifted medical students to consider a career in pediatrics by providing a stipend to work in a pediatric research group setting for a two-three month period. 37 funded students will participate this year Help Make A Difference! We welcome all members to our Directory of Labs so you have an opportunity to host one of our student participants.
Pediatric Research Foundation This is a support foundation which has been established by the APS and SPR to help secure the future of the Societies. Our goal is to raise a three million dollar endowment.

Pediatric Policy Council The Pediatric Policy Council (PPC) was created to combine the legislative advocacy efforts of the American Pediatric Society, the Association of Medical School Pediatric Department Chairs, the Academic Pediatric Association and the Society for Pediatric Research to "speak with one voice." • Drs. Cynthia F. Bearer and Scott C. Denne are the APS PPC representatives.
