  5. Be Responsible • Make transitions easily • Use time appropriately • Finish and turn in class work within time limits • Exercise self-control

  6. What does BEING SAFE look like in the classroom/special?

  7. BE SAFE • Respond appropriately to peer pressure • Respond to teasing by peers appropriately • Respond appropriately when pushed or hit by other children

  8. What do you think? • You are waiting for your turn for one of the learning centers. Someone “cuts” in front of you and begins using your center activity. How will you handle this situation? • You forgot your pencil case at home this morning. One of the people in your desk group is absent and has a pack of pencils in their desk. What should you do?
