The Cornwall Youth Advisory Committee (CYAC) serves the population of Cornwall by empowering youth to make a difference in the lives of others. Dedicated to providing youth with a forum to contribute to the development of solutions to make Cornwall a more youth-friendly community.

Cornwall Youth Advisory Committee With the assistance and vision of the new Council representative, Councillor Maurice Dupelle, the Terms of Reference for the CYAC were recently revamped with a goal of creating renewed interest in municipal government and politics and building continuity for its membership

  5. Cornwall Youth Advisory Committee The new Committee was formed late last summer and, after holding a strategic planning session, members identified the need for additional cultural activities as its number one priority

  7. CYAC Teen Skate • Saturday, March 3, 2012, at the Benson Centre • Over 200 Students • Leisure Skate • Live Band “Administrator” • DJs Joshie Josh, Axel Al and DaVince • Free hot chocolate donated by the Trinity Anglican Church

Open House • Open House on Tuesday, June 26 in Council Chambers at City Hall starting at 6:30 p.m. • GIS presentation by GIS Applications Specialist Denis Lalonde who was recently awarded the gold medal prize in the Best Web GIS category of the Best Geographic Information System Challenge Awards • Students from grades 7 to 12 are invited to attend
