“Five For Freedom Statewide Resolution(s) Project- 10th Amendment with Teeth ? Jeff Wright, Developer “Five For Freedom” 10th Amendment Project
Take Back the Republic • Colorado has multiple, disjointed 10th Amend. activities underway through Legislative and Initiative process • Colorado and other states need comprehensive approach and framework in order to reacquire true State Sovereignty • The “Five for Freedom” Resolutions program is offered to affect Caucus/Assembly platform development and legislative process
FFF Organization • Successive Resolutions 1-5 from general (#1) to specific (#2-5) in content • Each Resolution can be both standalone or integral to others if one or more are passed • Each Resolution's 'resolved points' are severable, except for Resolution 3. The first two points of Res. 3 must be passed together or not at all. Res. 3, Point 3 is severable or integral with first two points.
FFF Editing • MS Word format is supplied so that Resolutions are editable • Editing MUST be performed in a manner that insures original substance and intent remains. Please make them better and simpler, if possible. Otherwise, do not submit as part of this project. • Individual Statements of Intent (“Whereas...”) or Resolve (“Therefore,....”) may be edited or dropped if simplification demands or, can be better stated in view of editor(s) in a county, precinct or group.
FFF Resolution Submission/Control • Begin in each precinct and distribute through as many precincts in a county as possible before Caucus • Carry to County Party Resolutions Committee after precinct passage to make sure they arrive at County Assembly intact in substance and intent • If so heavily modified (yes, this will happen) by Resolutions Committee as to become meaningless at County Assembly, be prepared to carry originals to County assembly to be re-introduced by Delegates as a motion from the floor when Resolutions come up for floor vote. • It is good practice not to try to introduce more than 10 total Resolutions at any precinct Caucus. The same format may be used to develop other Resolutions, not associated with these 5.
Other Activities • Organize and distribute at coffees and meetings to other citizens, elected officials/candidates at all levels prior to beginning and during Caucus/Assembly/Primary season • Educate other citizens, officials and candidates as to meaning and necessity of program • Always be an effective and positive advocate • Good Luck and Good Will Hunting!
