  10. Problem: Racial Profiling • Racial profiling is defined as judging someone by their race. • Bias-Based Policing is defined as judging someone based on their clothes, skin color, hairstyle, tattoos etc.

  11. Collecting Data • Focus Group Interviews • Schools • OPD • BART Police • Police interviews caused a problem for the OPD.

  12. Analyzing Data • We put our data together and use that to create solutions. All of our information is confidential and will not be given to anyone else. Any quotes or voice recordings are anonymous, only we know who people are.

  13. Present Findings and Solutions • All of our information will be presented on 06/??/11. • Mayor Jean Quan will be there.

  14. Reflection • I am less nervous when presenting to others. • Whatever I plan on doing when I grow up MUST involve working with people. • Hard work pays off. You don’t need other people to bribe yourself.
