  2. Content: • Works for developing • Ongoing works • Data Methodology development • National Statistical Development Strategy 2018 - 2022

Works done for developing statistic • Government Decree from October 29, 2015, №614 on “Action plan for improving statistics for 2016-2021 years”; • Created high – level interdepartmental (Ministries) working group based on Government Decree; • Suggestion for making changes and additions on “State Statistical Law” to the Parliament; • Created Education center for improving the knowledge of specialists: experienced statisticians teaching young statisticians

  4. Ongoing works • Step by step transition to electronic reporting • Transition from NACE – 1 to NACE – 2 • Creating statistical electronic library • Implementation GSBPM 5.0 in statistical works • Preparation for conducting Census 2020 (using new technology (tab) and internet respond) • Conducting DHS (now) • Implementing SNA - 2008

Data Methodology development • Implementation of international methodological standards for all statistical areas • Linking statistical methodology to specific national information requirements specified in national legislation and other provisions of economic and social activities • Cooperation with international organizations and national statistical offices for unavailable SDG indicators methodology.

Components of National Statistical Development Strategy 2018 - 2022 • Organizational development and management; • The statistical metadata infrastructure; • Development of data structures; • Strengthening the information base for decision-making and forecasting; • Transition to modern communication and information technologies; • Population census; • Model of electronic census based on administrative registers and Big data, CAPI Internet surveys;
