  1. Reminders Mrs. Carter’s WeeklyNews *Scholastic Book orders are due by 4/11. This is separate from the Book Fair. *Weather permitting, we run on the track and play outside every day. It is important that your child wear appropriate shoes (sneakers are best) and clothing for their safety. Children should not wear flip flops at any time. *It’s Spirit Week! M – Book Character Day T- Wacky/Tacky Day W – School Shirt Day Th – Pajama Day F – Hat Day April 7, 2014 Scholastic Book Fair April 7th-11th Monday 7:30-2:30, 5:30-6:30, 7:00-7:30 Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:30-2:30 Friday 7:30-11:00 Please remember to send extra money for taxes. The prices on the advertisement do not include tax! How can I help my child read? April is National Poetry Month! Try enjoying various poems with your child this month. Ask your child to think about what the poem is really about. What made them think this?
