Primary School PTA Registered Charity No: 1014964 Newsletter April 2013 Tea, Coffee & Cakes Thurs 25th April School Hall 3.30 – 4.30 We have the cake, we have the childcare…so stop by and join us for a quick cuppa and help throw some ideas around…We have a very busy term ahead and would really appreciate your support by giving us your ideas and suggestions for the forthcoming events! It really does make all the difference… Diary of Events These are the events planned so far. Further details will follow… April 24th – Bag to School Collection 25th – Tea, Coffee & Cakes May 3rd – Remenham Cake Sale 18th – May Fair June 5th – Father’s Day Sale 7th – Ice Cream Sale 13th – Father’s Day Presents Delivered 21st – Ice Cream Sale 25th – Comedy Night 29th – Crazies Hill Float at the Wargrave Festival Parade July 5th – Last Ice Cream Sale Bag2School Thursday 24th – Drop Off If you need extra bags please ask or use normal bin bags, they will be accepted too! Please donate all your unwanted clothing and materials. From baby bibs to old bedding…we need them all! A good excuse for a proper clear out! Last collection we raised an fantastic £216! Comedy Night @ Wargrave Festival It’s the biggest fundraiser on the calendar! With Susie Wingate’s experience behind the event it promises to be a night that will leave you aching from laughter! Tickets are only £15! Wine and nibbles will be available on the night and free licence to dance on the tables til dawn! Hand in your slips ASAP to avoid disappointment! Crazies Hill Parade Float @ Wargrave Festival We have been invited to take part in the parade on Saturday 29th June. The theme is “Carry On…” We need a subcommittee to design the float. If you are able to help, please let one of the team know ASAP. Nearer the time we will be putting together a list of children who would like to take part riding on the float. Places will be on a first come first served basis as numbers will be limited. May Fair – Saturday 18th May Please put this in your diary and join us for a family fun day. From Hog Roast, Pimms Bar, Inflatable Mega slide and a Great British Bake Off, we promise something for everyone! Stalls, themes and activities to be decided at the Coffee Meeting on Thursday 25th April so please come along and help to inspire us! Remenham Cake Sale Fri 3rd May It’s the turn of the Remenham mums and dads to delight us all with their baking skills! This will be the last cake sale of the term so don’t forget your pocket money!!! Ice Cream Sales Due to the huge success last year, we will be holding ice cream sales on alternate weeks during the second half of term. Hopefully the weather will be perfectly summery by then
