Matthew 6:1, 33 Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Matthew 7:12,20 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them
Father,Make me a ‘radical’ disciple of Your Son, the Lord Jesus.I come to You, asking You to pour out Your Spirit upon me afresh today
I am poor in spiritI mourn my sinfulness I cannot live in my own strength.I am desperate to live in your grace and righteousness.
Make me a person of mercy.Hive me purity of heart.Make me a peacemakerHelp me stand up for you – whatever the cost may be.
Make us shine as salt and light in a broken world. Change our attitudes, change our hearts and change our reactions. Let our lives display Your holiness in every way.
Show us how to live according to Your choices. May we serve the poor and seek Your Kingdom first.
Make us radical, authentic disciples of the Lord Jesus. Help us to use all of our resources for Your Kingdom.
Open our eyes to the pain of the world and send us into our communities to bless them, proclaim Your truth and display Your greatness.
Break our hearts with what break Yours – and use us as Your people.We cry out to You for a fresh sense of mission and purpose in the world. Let Your Kingdom Come. Amen
