  2. Business Problems • The business is having trouble with work order assignment and specific communication regarding the work order. • A tracking system would also be beneficial to track productivity

  3. Proposed Solution • Build a work order system that automatically assigns the work order to a technician based on the user’s input of which department they work in. • Have a system that will produce reports that show how many work orders technicians have been assigned and the outcomes of the completed work orders.

  4. Work Order Inputs • Name of Requestor • Department that Requestor works in • Classification of Issue (PC, Software, Printer, etc.) • Date of Input • Email Address of Requestor • Technician Comments

  5. Work Order Outputs • Possible parts needed to complete work order • If the issue was able to be resolved • Which technician has been assigned to the work order • The date the work order was completed

  6. Technician will update work order with comments and close out work order • Outcome
