Counting… How can Life Groups help us ‘count’ – make an impact? • Break the Ice: soften hard hearts. • Your accountability to the group will help keep yr heart from going hard towards the call of Jesus to make an impact. • Matth16 – lose yr life to find it. • Matth10 – Jesus sent the disciples out in small groups.   14. Counting… Where is yr Life Group? Questions you should answer: • Does each person in yr group know & understand their spiritual gifts? • Do they understand that we are the hands & feet of Jesus, & that He has a unique assignment for each of us..? • Has the group discussed the unique context of ministry in which the Lord has placed each of us & us as a group..? If NO to these, then yr Life Group is at the Exploringstage. Life Group Leaders Training

Questions you should answer: • Has yr group served together? • Do group members discuss areas of ministry that they have tried? • Has at least ½ the group found an area of ministry in which they are committed? If NO to these, then yr Life Group is at the Applyingstage. Life Group Leaders Training

Questions you should answer: • Do yr members regularly serve (together or individually)? • Do group members discuss how they are helping others? • Does participating in ministry energise the group? “When we are operating in our strengths we feel magnificent!” Now Discover Your Strengths, Markus Buckingham.   17. Counting… How to lead yr group through the Exploring stage? • Discuss & identify spiritual gifts. • Celebrate evangelism. • Identify where God is working & join Him there..! Life Group Leaders Training

  18. Counting… How to lead yr group through the Applying stage? • Serve together a few times in the year. • Adopt a missionary/church plant/church site. • Adopt a ministry. Life Group Leaders Training

  19. Counting… How to lead yr group through the Impacting stage? • Acts of Regular Kindness (ARKs). • Become a serving team. • Celebrate & support each other in areas of ministry. Life Group Leaders Training
