Mai 2004 ist Polen Mitglied der Europäischen Union. • Die Hauptstadt ist Warszawa / Warschau (1.7Mio.Einwohner)

Republik Polen inFakten Die Republik Polen (Rzeczpospolita Polska) grenzt im Westen an Deutschland, im Süden an Tschechien und an die Slowakei Im Westen an die Ukraine, Weissrussland, Litauen Ihre Nordgrenze bilden die Ostsee (528 km) und Russland. Auf einem Gebiet von 312.700 km leben über 38,5 Millionen Menschen
