Twisted • 250 pages • Narrated by Tyler Miller, a high school senior. • Covers topics from a teenage boy’s perspective – realistic. • A bit of explicit language and sexual implications.
I am Number Four • 440 pages • Narrated by John Smith, an alien from the planet of Lorien who is pretending to be a human – high school aged. • John is being hunted by another alien race. • John and his other alien friends are protected by a charm which only allows them to be killed in order. John is number four and number three was just killed.
Rot and Ruin • 458 pages • Follows the life of Benny Imura who lives in zombie infested world. • At 15 all teenagers must get a job or their food rations are cut in half. • Benny decides to join the family business of zombie killing.
Unwind • 335 pages • Set in the future where parents can “unwind” their children and donate their organs between the ages of 13-18. • The story focuses on three youths: Connor, Risa and Lev. • Includes controversial topics.
Matched • 366 pages • Narrated by Cassia Maria Reyes, a girl who lives in a future where everything is controlled. • The Society (government) controls everything, including who you marry. • Inv0lves a love triangle.
