Background of Module General Medical Council Tomorrow’s Doctors 2009 • Understand and respect the roles of health and social care professionals as a multi-professional team • Understand the contribution that effective interdisciplinary team working makes to the delivery of safe and high-quality care
Module Aims • Develops medical students’ knowledge of team working in Year 3 • Student independently selects area in healthcare of interest to them • Gain a good understanding of how others provide health care over 4 weeks(1 session per week) • Develops student’s ability to systematically reflect on placement experience
Practitioners • 220 Health Care Professionals willing to frequently accept students • Wide ranging areas of healthcare for student to choose from
