  4. How can you become a health advocate? • Pick a topic • Gather reliable info • Identify your purpose and target audience • What is a target audience? • Develop a convincing and appropriate message

How do you get to volunteer? • Know your skills and interests (why?) • Find organizations in the community • Contact those organizations • Get permission • Be on time, dressed appropriately, follow rules etc. • Create your own project • Keep a log of volunteer experience (why?) • Don’t overdo it
