  1. A Canadian Sport • Hockey is a sport that was invented by Canadians. We have a lot of good players in the NHL. The Europeans are the best in this world with the Canadians.

  2. A great player • Sergei Federov is the most paid player in the NHL. He’s the fastest player there is in the hockey world. He also have one of the most powerful shots in the NHL. For me, he’s the best offense player.

  3. The best of the best • A good player in this sport is Wayne Gretzky but he retired this year. He’s the one with the most records today in hockey. Wayne scored 50 goals in 50 consecutive games.

  4. Wayne played twenty seasons in the NHL. He played for the first time in the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers and he finished his hockey career with the New York Rangers.. In twenty seasons, he won four Stanley Cups. Wayne Gretzky

  5. Penguin's star 68 • Jaromir Jagr was the best player in the Penguin’s team after Mario Lemieux. In the season of 1998-99, he was the player who scored the most points. Now Jagr is the best player in this sport. Last year he helped the Rep Tchec team to win the gold medal.

  6. The best player from Finland is Temmu Selanne. This player scored the most goals in 1998-99. He was selected in 1988 by the Winnipeg Jets in the first round. He played 226 games and he made 306 points. The fastest player
