SECURITY & EMERGENCY SERVICES • AWARENESS MESSAGE Accessing WikiLeaks through the NATO Unclassified Network • You will be aware that the website WikiLeaks is once again publishing classified documents from a number of sources. • NCSA blocks access to the Wikileaks website from NU networks. However, the leaked documents (or part of them) have been replicated on numerous other websites. • Personnel are not to attempt to access or download any information from WikiLeaks or any website associated to WikiLeaks through the NATO Unclassified network (PAN). • Each time leaked material is accessed on the internet through the NU network it “contaminates” the network with classified material. • Personnel are reminded that while the documents appear to be from diplomatic rather than military sources, the presence of classified documents on the internet is a security violation.
