1951 • The first tape recorder got live images from cameras. • They were converting information into electrical implus
1956 • Charles Ginsberg, and Charles Anderson invented a machine that records both images, and sound. • It was invented on April 14, 1956
1954 • The first color TV model CT-100. • It had a rich color screen.
1955 • The TV’s prompted enterprising to implement a conversion of B&W TV.
1967 • Ampex instant replay disk recorder was first tested in a football broadcast.
1975 • TeldecVideoDisc was introduced in West Germany. • Disc were enclosed by paper to avoid contact.
1979 • JVC VHD/AHD Video/Audio Disc System Prototype system was like CED but the disc were groove less.
Late 1980s and Early 1990s The video cameras for personal use is called camcorders. They were bulky, expensive, and heavy. Sony and JVC began inventing the video cameras. The same companies began to digitize and miniaturize their machines.
