First step • The operational guidelines, reporting system forms and related workshops were developed • First step of program has been conducted since March 2014 • 16 hot spot areas have been included in first step at country wide • 150.000 pregnant women is expected to be under coverage of PMTCT program in first phase
New approaches • Effective PITC (Provider Initiation Testing ) Opt–out approach • Continues ART (among pregnant women) B+ Option
Challanges • Stigma and Discrimination in General Population • Stigma and Discrimination in Health Facilities • Social barrier for awareness raising programs • Weak collaboration from private sector • Weak involvement of mass media • Insufficient support of policy makers • Adolescents as the main target group
