Acquisition & Elevation Program *January 2002 – Awarded $482,133.97 for buyout of homes flooded as a result of Tropical Storm Allison *June 2002 – Awarded $556,250.00 for mitigation of high ranking Target repetitive loss structures *October 2002 – Awarded $66,267.00 for development and implementation of an all Hazard Mitigation Plan *March 2003 – Awarded $10,065,975.00 for mitigation of Substantially Damaged structures from Lili / Isidore ( Largest Hazard Mitigation Grant ever awarded to a Louisiana Community)
