Rifle/Pistol Shotgun Spring Selection 2019 2 courses of fire with 1 final and finals points for top 3 Ranking list determined by total score after day 2 including finals points Skeet Men and Women will be top 2 finishers selected to Pan Am Trap Men and Women will be discretionary as Olympic Quotas still on line. 3 courses of fire recorded from January 1 – June 30 required to be eligible. • Nationals, Spring Selection, Robert Mitchell, any WSPS event all count • Average of your top 3 courses of fire will determine a ranking list of athletes. • Athlete with highest average score will be selected to take the first quota in each event where ParaPan quotas are available. 2nd highest average will get second quota and so on. • If there are any leftover quota spaces available not filled, a discretionary panel will determine who fills those spots. 2 direct routes to the Olympic Games • Finish highest on the ranking list after Olympic Trials • World Ranking Automatic Quota (only comes into play if we win no quotas in an event) • Any Olympic Quota spots won will be up for grabs through two Olympic Trials events making up the Olympic Selection. March 25 – March 31 • 2 courses of fire with 2 finals + Finals Points • Selection for Pan American Games • Part 2 of Air Rifle Selection for World Cup Munich and World Cup Beijing • Only Pistol and Smallbore Rifle Selection for World Cup Munich and World Cup Beijing • Available match for ParaPan American Selection Rifle/Pistol Spring Selection
February 25 – March 9 • 2 courses of fire with 1 Final • Pan American Games selection • Other selections for the year include : World Championships, Jr World Championships, World Cup Changwon, World Cup Lahti, Jr World Cup Shotgun Spring Selection
June 20 – 30 • 2 courses of fire with 1 final • Selection for Rifle and Pistol World Cup Rio • Last available match for ParaPanAmerican Games Rifle/Pistol National Championships
June 1 – 8 (Trap) • June 13 – 19 (Skeet) • Intermixed with JO’s • No international competition selections taking place at this match • Expecting to have cash payouts as we did last year Shotgun Nationals
September 30 – October 4 • 2 courses of fire with 1 final and finals points • Scores will carry into Olympic Trials Part II • Based on 2020 ISSF World Cups may be a selection for WC’s as well Rifle/Pistol Smallbore Olympic Trials Part I (Fall Selection 2019)
September 10 – 20 • 2 courses of fire with 1 final and finals points • Finals will be standard elimination ISSF Final with finals points based on results • Scores from this will carry over to Olympic Trials Part II • Based on 2020 ISSF calendar may be a World Cup selection Shotgun Olympic Trials Part I (Fall Selection 2019)
December 6 – 15 • Rifle and Pistol will be split off this year into separate match dates • 2 courses of fire with 1 final and finals points • Scores will carry into Olympic Trials Part II • Based on 2020 ISSF World Cups may be a selection for WC’s as well Rifle/Pistol Air Olympic Trials Part I (Winter Airgun)
Dates will be known shortly after 2020 ISSF calendar is confirmed. • Will be the final event before Olympic Ranking List is produced for 2020 Olympic Games • Smallbore and Air events will both take place here. • 2 courses of fire with 1 final. Rifle/Pistol Olympic Trials Part II (Spring Selection 2020)
