  3. The battle of Kursk was fought in Kursk, Russia by Nazi Germany and the soviet union. The battle was from the 12 July -23 August. The purpose of the battle was Germans tried to push the Russian’s back into Russia. The number of casualties was; 1066,303.the generals where Georgy Zhukov; Soviet union & Erich Von Manstein; Nazi Germany VS WINNER
