High Energy Final Focus • “full length” Raimondi/Seryi compact system (TRC), 3.51 m L* • bend scaling optimized for 500 GeV cm • “short” superconducting final doublet optimized for 500 GeV cm (2 m QF1, 2.2 m QD0) • “large” detector with 5 T field • Low Energy Final Focus • “intermediate length” Raimondi/Seryi compact system, 3.51 m L* • bend scaling optimized for 500 GeV cm • “short” superconducting final doublet optimized for 500 GeV cm (2 m QF1, 2.2 m QD0) • “large” detector with 5 T field • Dump Lines • Yuri’s most recent modifications • add 100 m drift before dump (for dump/IP separation) • masking in 100 m drift to absorb beamstrahlung gammas from 800-1000 μrad
High Energy Final Focus: Additions & Beautifications • spoilers and absorbers with real physical lengths located per Lew’s table (next slide) • 11 protection collimators (PCs) • 2 photon masks • collimator/mask gaps/bores per Lew’s table for tail-folding octupoles OFF (even though the octupoles are ON in the deck) • 3 PPS stoppers • 2 muon spoilers (9 m and 18 m) • bore of QM11-16 increased from 2 cm to 4 cm
