Public Education – AIPLA will educate the public about the daily value of intellectual property so that its importance is understood and appreciated. • Key actions and next steps: • Working with Marketing & Communications Director Lorri Ragan on Distribution Channels and Creativity in Bloom Website • Continuing joint efforts with PTO, others (World IP Day, PTO Trademark Expo, Educational Outreach from the Trademark Office on protecting your brand) • Working on potential “Town Hall” public forum on IP with Emerging Technologies Committee • Working on Education Outreach Event as a part of AIPLA 360 Local Outreach Project • Working on potential Joint Events with new partners [e.g. FBLA] • Determine best approach for gauging public opinion/awareness – public opinion research
