Executive Summary Dancing is a historical tradition for a many of not all cultures. Dancing has been alive for many centuries. In recent years dance has grown with its styles and its popularity. It is in our media through Dancing with the Stars, Americas Best Dance Crew, and So You Think You Can Dance; it is in the music we listen to and our day to day social functions. Although the love for dance is growing it is not easy to find a place where you can dance or bring your children to dance that is affordable. Barbie’s Dollhouse Dancers and More are dedicated to bringing quality and affordable dancing instruction to Berkshire. We have a very talented and devoted group of instructors that will put their best foot forward to teach our students everything they need to know. Barbie’s Dollhouse Dancers and More plan to try and quickly spread the word of how fun and exciting dancing truly can be. There will be many benefits preformed that will attract people from all backgrounds and interests.
Continued… Barbara Jordan the owner has been involved in all dance types from the age of 2 and a half, and has been an assistant teacher /teacher since she was 15 years old. Barbara has worked in dance studios in Newark Valley and Berkshire were she was also training there. Her student have held regional championships for many different competitions and won gold’s, high gold’s, platinum’s and highest score awards.
Mission Statement Barbie's Dollhouse Dancers and More provide a place for all ages and abilities from beginner to advance to learn all genres of dance and tumbling. We will offer a variety of choices for you and your children. We will provide a studio with a family atmosphere which is based on satisfying customers. We offer diverse dance programs with prices for all income families. Barbie’s Dollhouse Dancers offers class ranging from groups classes to personal lessons. Our instructors continue to train with the area’s most profound coaches while teaching the students. This offers our students the training of the most modern dance steps, tumbling technique and approach to the latest dance and tumbling styles.
Target Market Barbie’s Dollhouse Dancers and More’s target market consists of individuals ranging from toddlers to 40+, men or women who enjoy participating in many styles of dance and varying levels of gymnastics. The median income level for Berkshire is $36,231, but we will be marketing throughout the triple cities to broaden our clientele.

The classes we will offer! Barbie’s Dollhouse Dancers and More will provide beginner, intermediate and advanced classes in jazz, ballet, tap, contemporary, modern, hip hop, and lyrical for ages from toddler to 40+. We also offer group, duet, solo, and trio classes.
Products and Services Group Classes Duets, Trios, Solos Solos will be $40 a month and duets and trios will be $35 a month. Group dance classes will be $20 for beginner classes, $25 for intermediate, and $30 for advanced classes a month.
