It was a little confusing hearing words I have never heard before like; nary, vivid, or conscious. Text Structure
To the slaves it was clear that slavery existed for two reasons: free labor, an the money that was received from the fruits of that free labor and from selling slaves. TEXT REPRESENTATION

I disliked and liked the book “To Be A Slave”. I disliked the book because it talked about how slaves were treated and what they were called. But what I did like about the book is that at the end the slaves were set free. Reading Response
