Language Centre • The Language Centre of the University of Cyprus was set up in 2004 with the approval of the Senate • The Centre is one of the academic units of the School of Humanities • It is dedicated to helping students succeed in mastering languages other than their own • It also provides recourses and services for members of the University who need foreign language competency for their studies or personal interest

  3. Information • The Language Centre Offers courses in 7 Languages • All syllabuses are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF) • Trains 2500 students per semester • Employs 40 Instructors with MAs/ PhDs in Language Teaching

  4. Language Centre • Undertakes Curriculum Development of Specially Designed courses • The Centre collaborates with foreign Embassies and Cultural Centres • Organizes local Language Conferences • Assists in the running of pre-service courses for secondary education instructors • Runs tailor-made courses in collaboration with the University's Adult Education services
