  3. Fats • helps human cell function • coconut oil only healthy saturated fat known • in fatty meats & chicken with skin • 1/3 children in NA are overweight • are organic compounds • saturated & unsaturated fats

  4. Protein • helps make cells & watches sugar level • in poultry, fish, milk, eggs, & cheese • digestion releases nitrogen waste • molecule of one more chains amino acids • whey protein, casein protein & egg protein

  5. Fibre • help achieve weight loss • in apples, broccoli, cherries, grapes, watermelon • a substance found in plants • makes you feel full faster • soluble & insoluble

  6. Vitamins • nutrients needed for growth & development • In milk, carrots & vegetables • Stored in your fat tissues and liver • 13 vitamins; A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12, C, D, E, & K • Two types: fat soluble & water soluble
