  2. Introduction • Hazrat Khadijah was born in Makkah in the house of Khuwalid bin Asad • She was married to Abu Hala and had two sons called Hind and Hala. • After he died, she was married to Ateeq bin Aid Makhzumi

  3. Marriage with the Holy Prophet (PBUH) • She sent the message to the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) to take her trade goods to Syria • The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) returned with a huge profit • Her slave Maisra reported about the excellent conduct of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) • She was much impressed • Sent the proposal for the marriage. • The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) accepted it • At the time of marriage The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) was 25 years of age and she was 40 years. • “ The noblest women of the world are Hazrat Mariam and Hazrat Khadija.” (Al Hadis)

Hazrat Khadijah served the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) with heart and soul. • She gave all her wealth to him • When the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) began his preaching, she was the first person to accept his message • She used to console the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) in his difficult times • She was a constant supporter of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) • She died at the age of 64 and was buried in Makkah.
