  5. Objectives • Empowering the knowledge of nutritional problems in order to motivate the teenagers to give up the unhealthy eating habits and to prevent the eating disorders; • Developing the competences in youth work by learning and experimenting alternative solutions to support teenagers’ healthy eating habits • The development of a proactive attitude and behavior by designing and applying a support-programme, YES (I Eat Smart!) in the local communities, which will involve other interested actors (family – friends- teachers/ colleagues – psychologist – nutritionist).

  6. Methods • The methods used were specific to non-formal education and were meant to develop the trainees’ creativity and involvement: knowledge and trust exercises, reflection exercises; a lecture, PP presentations; open space, round table, workshops, learning café; roles play, simulations; watching short movies; study visits; trip; designing and editing a mini-guide CODE, an informative and raising awareness material

  9. Activities • Creating types of activities to prevent DEED and diminish their effects

  10. Activities • Visit to the ecological farm DaniCost, Liteni • Meeting with students at Colegiul National “Petru Rares” Suceava; lecture of a nutritionist doctor

  11. Activities • Advertising a healthy life-style

  12. Activities • Getting to know the culture and nature of the region

  13. Expected results • Youth workers will gain the necessary competences for helping teenagers to develop a nutritional culture; • Organizations which will enlarge their expertise area and educational offer; • Communities will develop a proactive behavior towards the teenagers with alimentary problems.
