AT&T* has extended the reach of AT&T WorkBench to include businesses and organizations that have mobile devices running on the Android platform. In addition, AT&T announced that two of its existing mobile applications, ProntoForms from TrueContext Corporation and Xora GPS TimeTrack, are now available on Android. AT&T WorkBench is an integral part of AT&T MEAP, which offers hosted and managed mobile integration solutions and application consulting services for companies that want to extend their business-critical information to mobile employees. 3. AT&T Enterprise Mobility Earns Top Ratings from Current Analysis Dallas, Jan. 18, 2011 — AT&T* today announced that Current Analysis, a leading industry analyst firm, has recognized AT&T’s enterprise mobility services with the highest possible competitive ranking in a “current perspective” report.1 Current Analysis credited AT&T’s strengths in growing areas such as managed mobility services, Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications, and mobile applications with contributing to AT&T’s success in enterprise mobility. According to Current Analysis’s Kathryn Weldon, AT&T delivers “a comprehensive mobility portfolio and roadmap, a compelling set of core network assets and technologies, and expertise in addressing diverse business network requirements.” She later adds, “AT&T is offering integrated solutions rather than technology silos.” AT&T’s sharp focus in the enterprise mobility space, mentioned often throughout the Current Analysis report, stems from the formation of the Advanced Enterprise Mobility Solutions (AEMS) group last year. Since its inception, AEMS has launched more than a dozen new mobility products and services. AT&T’s recent acquisition of assets from inCompass Wireless, a mobile systems integrator and technology provider, has further spurred AT&T’s development of valuable mobility solutions.
