Amend • Purpose- To modify the motion that is under consideration • Amendments are of 2 ranks- 1st & 2nd Rank • Pertinent Facts: • A 2nd is required • It is debatable when the motion to which it applies is debatable • A 1st rank amendment may be amended by an amendment of the 2nd rank • Requires a Majority Vote • May be reconsidered
