KINETIC ENERGY • The energy in motion
JOULE • the SI unit of work or energy, equal to the work done by a force of one Newton when its point of application moves through a distance of one meter in the direction of the force: equivalent to 107 ergs and one watt-second.
WATTAGE • the amount of power required to operate an electrical device.
RENEWABLE ENERGY • any naturally occurring, source of energy
NONRENWABLE ENERGY • Energy that comes from the ground and is not replaced in a relatively short amount of time.
