Sir Ernest Shackleton • Sir Ernest Shackleton was born on the 15th of February 1874. He died on the 5th of January 1922 at the age of 47, from a heart attack. • Shackleton lead his second Antarctic expedition to within 156km of the South Pole. • He only turned back if his supplies had run out.
Sir Robert Falcon Scott. • Sir Robert Falcon Scott was born on the 6th of June 1868. He died on March the 29th 1912 aged 66. (died from heart disease) • He had a bad Financial Crisis in 1894. His family went homeless, without him and they had a financial disaster.
