All glass is cleaned and recycled domestically, and meets US EPA regulations. All byproducts are sent to domestic refiners to process the material to its base commodity form. We will issue a Certificate of Destruction after each load is processed.

GEM’s Transparent Downstream Cali Resources provides true glass-to-glass recycling for North America, leveraging exclusive TDM technology and capabilities contained in the former Thomson CRT Television Manufacturing Facility in Mexicali, Mexico. This former Thomson CRT Television Manufacturing Factory has been converted into one of the largest CRT / Monitor / Display Device dismantling and glass-to-glass processing facilities in the world. The enormous factory boasts a completely self-contained water treatment facility, fresh water tanks, electrical supply, 10k/30k clean rooms and a commitment to employee safety.While many other recyclers aggregate CRT and monitor display devices and ship them overseas, Cali Resources processes CRTs and Monitors in a manner that facilitates the glass to be reusable downstream. This has enabled Cali Resources to become an environmental partner of Great Eastern Metals. Cali Resources is the Clear Choice for Glass Recycling. Great Eastern Metals, LLC has audited it’s downstream vendors to ensure the adherence to our Environmental Pledge. All downstream vendors are EPA approved and are reviewed regularly. Our clients safety and security will always remain first and foremost with regard to our process and it’s effect on our community and the environment.

Technologies Displays Mexicana • TDM recycles complete CRT’s and converts them into materials that can be reused in other processes; we are capable of reprocessing 96% of the CRT, including the glass. We have all government permits to do this kind of work, including an ISO14001 Environmental certification.

6. The Process • Metal is separated from the CRT (masks, internal magnetic shield, frames, implosion bands, guns) and baled to mill specifications which is commodity form. • Yokes are separated (copper, plastic) sent to smelters or plastic recycling plants. Once processed, the materials are reintroduced into the marketplace. • Glass is washed to remove all hazardous materials; all water used in this process is recycled several times and then is sent to our waste water recycling facility located on our premises. • After this washing process, glass is sent to our CRT glass parts manufacturing facility in India that reuses the cullet glass to produce new CRTs, eliminating the possibility of contamination of the environment.

7. Capacity of TDM TDM has the capacity to process 200 tons of glass per day. Currently, TDM is looking to expand their capacity through capital investment, marketing and innovative process improvements. The facility, located at the border of Imperial Valley County and the Arizona state line, offers a strategic location with ease of access to the North Americanmarket.
