How Registration Works • Access registration via your Buzzport account • Instructions and video tutorials are available via www.registrar.gatech.edu • Fall 2007 registration ends at 4:30 pm on Friday, August 24
ImportantNotices • Registration ends on Friday, August 24, at 4:30 PM EDT • A minimum of 12 semester hours is required to be “full time” for all terms, including summer • No courses will be added or deleted from a student’s schedule after the last day of registration
Assistantship Requirements Students receiving assistantships must register for at least 12 hours of letter grade and/or pass/fail courses. Failure to do so can result in the loss of funding. Students will not be allowed to adjust hours after the close of registration.
Variable Hour Courses • Thesis courses and variable hour courses always default to “1” semester hour when added to a student’s schedule. If additional hours are required, a student must change the hours and verify the results. • Changing the number of hours or the grade mode (letter grade or pass/fail) for a course is done via “Change Course Options” on the add/drop classes page of OSCAR.
Student Responsibilities • Activate GT email address and read emails daily • Familiarize yourself with the Student Rules and Regulations • Keep emergency contacts and addresses updated • Don’t ignore deadlines • Don’t be afraid to seek assistance
